2021 Pinot Noir, Russian River, Sonoma County
This Burgundian-style pinot is crafted from vineyards in Mendocino, where the cool climate of the valleys makes for exquisite pinot varietals. This wine is aged for 30 months in 5% new French Burgundy oak barrels -- the traditional way. It has a dark red gemstone hue and rich flavors of black cherries and plum, with aromatic hints of earth and oak. The acidity is balanced with the sweetness of plum, leaving your palate satisfied. This smooth, soft, yet flavorful wine can be enjoyed now or in five years, as the complexity only develops with age.
